Downtown Christmas Lights Project
Be a light. Sponsor a Christmas light on the Historic Downtown Dyersburg Courthouse Square
The Downtown Dyersburg community has come together to seek community support for bringing Christmas lights to the Historic Downtown Court Square. We have such a beautiful courthouse square and so many citizens of Dyersburg long to see it lit up again like days of old. We believe that community projects like this work better when we all work together for the good of the community.
This community-driven project is asking for your support through tax deductible donations to the Downtown Christmas Lights Fund. Phase One proceeds will be used for the purpose of purchasing and installing 27 - 3.5 ft snowflake lights that will be mounted to the historic light poles that surround the inner and outer court square and on Mill and Masonic Streets. Phase Two will be based upon the success of Phase One and will be used for additional lighting in the Historic District for Christmas 2019. Our hope is to have the Phase One lights in place in time for the kickoff of the Downtown Dyersburg Christmas Open House on Friday, November 9th and Saturday, November 10th. For more information about the Christmas Open House, you can click here.
Project sponsors will be recognized multiple ways including local print media, multiple social media channels, sponsorship postings during the Christmas Open House, DowntownDyersburg.com website, and during the annual Downtown Dyersburg Christmas Parade.
If you have any questions or if you'd like to support the project, please contact Chris Donaldson at 731.288.8000 or Director of Downtown Development, Steve Guttery at 731.285.3433.
Thank You for your support!
